Our mission is to assist entrepreneurs in owning and operating Black Owned Stores nationally and internationally. The $9 billion dollar Black Hair Care & Cosmetic Industry is fully supported by Black Americans. BOBSA's success is marked by connecting manufacturers, to black stores, to salons, to the black Cosmetologist and ultimately to the black community. The attainment of BOBSA’s mission will come about by networking, by training both in and outside of our organization, and by mastering relationships with our partners. In projecting this mission our priorities shall reflect our recognition and allegiance to a code that enables us to work in behalf of and exceed the expectations of our members. We represent a modern American industry founded by African-American women! BOBSA is proud of its short history of bringing together those who seek to “”CONNECT THE BLACK DOTS”” in the country and around the world.
